Our History
From Vision to garment
Sartoria Haúse, originally Men-in-Suits, was created and founded by its creative director, Ekole Fonjungo (Sartorialist & Artisanologist) in 2005 during a chance encounter at a courthouse in Washington, DC.

Dressed in a stunning brown, pinstriped, double-breasted Corneliani suit which he had bought from Marshalls, Ekole was at a courthouse to support a friend when he was approached by an Attorney-at-Law who had taken a particular likeness to his suit. Interested in having a similar suit, this led to a business transaction. This initial sale blossomed into a clothing business based exclusively on referrals; despite the many challenges and obstacles he was facing at the time.

After eventually overcoming some of these challenges and obstacles, Ekole transformed Men-in-Suits into Sartoria Haúse in 2018, dedicating the brand to a Custom/Tailored/BeSpoke creation fueled by his passion for Exclusive superfine fabrics, Details and European craftsmanship.

During the COVID years, while travelling for work, Ekole was able to grow and leverage Sartoria Haúse in most of the various cities that he worked in, in addition to the ones where he had been traveling to purposefully for business in Europe.

With clients in the US (Baltimore, Arlington, Washington, DC, Delaware, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas) as well as in Europe (Milan, Florence, Naples, London and Paris); Sartoria Haúse is a global brand that caters to the discerning lady and gentleman.
